Bags/Boxes of Clothes/Housewares 

A box is any item or collection of items in a cardboard or plastic container that one person can safely carry. A bag refers to any item or collection of items in a bag, trash bag, or similar carrier that can be easily handled by a single person.

Examples: Linens, clothes, plates, bowls, glassware, silverware, cookware, small appliances, small home decor, books, and shoes.

Please consider wrapping glass, label the box, with an warning of fragile items.

MEDIUM ITEMS

Medium Item (1-Person Lift)

These items are large enough to require a bit more effort but can still be easily carried by one person.

Examples: Dining chairs, desk chairs, end tables, stools, ottomans, rugs (5x7 or smaller), wardrobe boxes, and similar items that one person can comfortably lift and carry.

LARGE ITEMS

Large Item (2-Person Lift)

These items require two people to lift but don’t need special equipment for moving.

Examples: Standard six-seat dining table, dressers, sideboards (buffets), standard desks, couches or loveseats, rugs larger than 5x7, motorized or electric recliners, sectional pieces (each piece counts separately), and similar items.

X-LARGE ITEMS

X-Large Item (2-Person Lift with equipment)

These items require two or more people to lift and may need special equipment for moving.

Examples: Major appliances, entertainment centers, china cabinets, wardrobes, dining tables (8 seats or more), executive desks, reclining couches with electric motors, and similar items that require at least two people or specialized equipment for safe transport.
